Coat of Many Colors Clothing Bank and Kitchen Goods

Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have,

for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.  (Hebrews 13:16)

The Coat of Many Colors is a free clothing bank for individuals and families in need. We offer a variety of clothing for both adults and children. Our Kitchen Ministry provides basic kitchen items to those unhoused or otherwise needy individuals setting up a new household.

We ask that those in need of clothing or kitchen items go first to Community Care Alliance Family Support Center at 245 Main Street, Woonsocket, in order to learn about a full range of services and obtain vouchers for clothing, kitchen items and food from the ministries at St. James. The Coat of Many Colors clothing bank is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:15-3:00pm. It is located behind St. James Episcopal Church at 24 Hamlet Avenue.

The Coat of Many Colors  and the Kitchen Ministry accept donations of new or gently used clothing  and/or kitchen items during our open hours. If this time is not possible, please call 401-762-2222 extension 2 to schedule a special time with our ministry coordinator.

The Coat of Many Colors and Kitchen Ministry are staffed by volunteers. We welcome anyone who wishes to help us, and we serve as a site for persons needing to perform community service.  Please call 401-762-2222 extension 2, if you are interested in volunteering.
