Our Choir
The St. James Choir sings at all the principal services of the church and has been known to “go on the road" for various joint services. Rehearsals are typically held weekly on Thursday afternoons at 1pm with a more sporadic schedule during the summer months. The choir also gathers on Sunday mornings around 9:15am to warm up and rehearse the music of the day. New members are welcome, no auditions are necessary, but a good sense of humor is encouraged. If you are interested, you can contact our Director of Music Ministries at 401-762-2222 extension 3, or just attend a Thursday rehearsal. Traditional cassock and cotta choir vestments are normal attire except during the summer months.

Curious? Come to the choir room on the lower level of the parish house and be prepared for camaraderie, some silliness at times, but always a sincere desire to “praise God in His sanctuary.”
